The PogoHayes Foundation was created to keep Haley Greer's legacy alive. We lost Haley suddenly in January 2021. There was nothing in this world Haley loved more than to Pogo. The Pogo Community accepted her and supported her as one of the only female athletes in the sport. She may not have been the best pogo'er but she gave her heart, soul, and every effort to do the absolute best she could do. She took a fall and she got right back up...there was no fear.
Our mission is to take what was important to Haley and help others be able to accomplish their dreams....
But not stop there...If Haley could only fight her struggle with mental health the way she fought so hard to get back on that pogo stick we would still be watching her today doing what she loved.
Our wish is to grow this foundation and not only support athletes in the sport but also bring awareness to mental health. It's a disease that often goes unnoticed yet effects so many of us.
In addition we will give back to Haley's local community looking to rebuild the local skate park and incorporate a pogo park, give back to her church and Sunday school class she enjoyed every week helping with the kids. The local animal shelter who took such great care of her pups Hamlet and Lasher. As well as other contributors that mattered most too Haley and the Pogo Community.
What we do will never bring Haley back. Our hopes are to make a difference in someone's life in memory of Haley the way she touched so many of our lives.
